Best AIM application...
I am considering trying an Instant Messenger program on my mogul... Does it use the data connection or is it like a text message? and which one do you think is best and free?

pleasse search this as it is beaten to death.....slick is the best and all use data except for oz which does not work on the mogul

palringo's alright, but it cannot send video files. slick does, and i've been sending pornos flawlessly on it, so here's a link if you like it...

i like palringo, but it SUCKS with AIM. I disconnects all of the time, I dont have an issue with any other messengers through palringo, just AIM, of course the one I use most. I have tried slick, but it just doesnt look as neat as Palringo, and looks matter big time to me!! Someone get OZ working before I Batman off of the nearest cliff!!

My Samsung A900 had working IM, and here we all are messing with 3rd party programs that only work when they want to..... Sprint did so many good things with this phone and so many really dumb ones...
I just wish they would even OFFER a fix, I'd even pay for some of the things (IM,TV,GPS) that were lacking on the device.... I use Slick and it works well .... WHEN the network isnt down, I'd say about 50/50 chance of it being operable when you want it... One last note..... Sprint/Nextel have been releasing hybrid phones with Sprint telephone service and Nextel push-to-talk service.... I want the ROM upgrade TO GIVE ME PUSH-TO-TALK on my Mogul also lmbo

a rom with PTT feature is a great idea, but it looks like we'll need a PTT button for the mogul. if it had that, it be over for AT&T.
