A few wierd problems

Posted this over at sprintusers, but i thought i'd post here as well. Well so far i'm pretty happy with my mogul, but i've had a few... odd problems. First one is that when i goto make a call and i the the call button to bring up the dialing pad, it wont' show but i know it's running though because if i were to press the call button again it would call the last person i called or received a call from. Also a few things might show up but only partially. The other one is that today, i the lil battery meeter on my today screen kept showing i was extremely low, as in in the red. The thing is that i wasn't getting any "danger, power low" warning. When this was happening i wasn't able open up my pocket outlook to check any msgs. Both times during when these things happened i had to do a soft reset. Now is this a sign ofa defective phone, or is it just some software i installed thats acting up?

I have the following installed:
ReenSoft PIEPlus
Arcsoft Arcsoft MMS
Google Maps
TvBCrS HTC Streaming Media
HTC Audio Manager
Codyppc Threaded SMS
TCPMP
Mud Inc. Kokonotsu (from microsoft directly)
HTC X-Button 1.5

Could any of the following be causing these problems? I have no dialpad installed, no comm manager either, just using a few different QVGA themes i've gotten from the net.
