I'm done screwing around with my POS HTC Titan. Internet tethering must work 100%.

I'm done ****ing around with my mogul trying to get internet tethering to work, a necessity in my life.

PDANet:

USB jack on phone is worn out and no longer transfers data, so no syncing through USB. When the USB jack was fine activesync would randomly disconnect anyway, ****ing up PDANet.

Bluetooth is extremely unreliable. Cannot get connected 80% of the time, and the rest of the time the bluetooth activesync connection will just disconnect randomly within minutes of connection. Sometimes I find that the bluetooth radio turns itself off on the phone for no reason.

Wifi doesn't even begin to work. PDANet's wifi solution doesn't work because the option to connect to my laptop's ad hoc network after the phone has connected to it never shows up in the phone's pdanet settings. This is even when my laptop can ping my phone, so I KNOW that there's a solid connection.

WMWifiRouter fails because I can't create an ad-hoc connection on the phone. It is always stuck in "connecting" status on the phone and it never is able to set itself up to the point where my laptop can connect to it. I can't even create ANY kind of ad-hoc connection from the phone, not just WMWifi's. Always stuck in "connecting" status.

I'm sick and tired of this phone and rom and OS and all its unstable ****.

Give me a recommendation for another Sprint compatible phone and ROM that CAN set up ad hoc networks, DOESN'T disconnect USB and Bluetooth connections on random, and which is fully compatible and 100% working with PDANet and WMWifiRouter and not giving any trouble with the aforementioned software.

I have never had an issue with either my Mogul, Touch, or Touch Pro. My tethering works fine, via USB, Bluetooth, or ActiveSync....I have used them all on my Pro....only USB on the Mogul and Touch.

Re: I'm done screwing around with my POS HTC Titan. Internet tethering must work 100%

I have been a Happy WMWifiRouter user on my Mogul, 800w, Diamond, and now touch pro. Did you purchase it or are you trying to use one of the half-***** cracked versions? If the latter, go buy it, get the newest version, and if you are having issues look forsupport on their sight.

As far as your USB port, what carrier do you have? If it is Sprint, you can take it to a Sprint Service & Repair cener and get it replaced for $55 or free if you have ESRP or TEP.
