Now to see if I can download files from the site on my PPC as I want to hear how the Star Trek doors work while I'm at work.

I'd avoid the gunshots if I were you though. Imagine looking up something while in line at the airport or something. I don't think the Transit Authority would take kindly to hearing that.

I wonder if I can upload my file of my current open and close sounds... they aren't that quick, but I tend to open mine up without the full force of the spring. Since I'm usually on vibrate it wont make much difference but in some rare occurrences it my prove humorous. hope you enjoy.

i followed these directions the best i could but for some reason i can't get my new sound to appear in the keyboard sliding menu. I know it says to save .wav files in windows directory but i dont think i got it in the right folder.

On the device...

My Device > Windows

From a Windows based device...

Mobile Device > My Windows Mobile Based Device > Windows

Make sure you're following those directions exactly and it should work. I was able to accomplish it first try and didn't have any problem.
