Question WM 6.1 - Force Roaming Help

First off i'm new to this and want to apologize for incorrect terms and all...

As you all know, the WM6.1 does not allow to force roaming, which is the only way I have service at home. I searched on here all afternoon and downloaded the PHM Registry editor, and two different cabs (i think they're called) to fix the issue, but have no luck installing them.

can anyone offer any help or a quick how to...

Thank You Again

Re: WM 6.1 - Force Roaming Help

Tried going to start -> settings -> phone -> services, then selecting network service, tap "get settings"? Should be set to Automatic. Home only will only allow your carriers towers, Automatic should allow any tower (roaming).

Hope this helps.

Must be a Sprint thing. Never seen it on VZW, but it should be affecting the same base settings.

Good luck in your hunt, post back if you can find it.

Re: WM 6.1 - Force Roaming Help

I have WM6.1 installed and I installed this on advice from another user here. It adds the feature of Roaming, but not sure if it actually does it or not because I cannot really tell any difference on any of the Three settings...
start -> settings -> phone -> services, then selecting network service, tap "get settings" And after installing this, it has 3 options. Roaming being one of them..
