Talking Mogul Hardware Revisions

I have a Mogul, and on the label under the battery, at the bottom right, theres a letter. I have seen them range from A to F. I am guessing these are Hardware Revisions of the devices, since the ones the company i work for just got in a few days ago have F, and the one i carry which is about 5 months old has an E on it.

Now my question to the forum is, does anybody out there know what has been changed on each of the revisions. Is it worth it for me to swap out my E for an F? I have my baby all set up with a no2chem rom and set up just the way I like it. If I switch its going to be more work, I mean fun, to customize it but unless theres a noticable difference why bother.

To most people that sounds fun, but I have gone thru about 100 Moguls in the past week and am tired of looking at them, with the exception of my phone of course.

Also if someone has brought this up before feel free to kill this thread and point me in that direction, i did a search and didnt come up with anything.

Re: Mogul Hardware Revisions

I think the only difference is the day it is made. If you get a newer one it may or may not be worth it but it probably is ok to stick with what you got now.

Re: Mogul Hardware Revisions

i have the supposed F series phone that you mentioned. It is true that these new revisions have slightly different versions with different materials. The build of my phone is pretty much what this thread describes it as, purple(albeit very slight) frame and gritty keyboard.

it probably is not worth upgrading to this newest version unless you really hate the feel of your keyboard as the hardware itself is not upgraded.
