Sprint TV gives Application Error?

Hey guys, I have done a search and a few people mentioned the same problem, but no-one has given a fix.

I have the official 3.56 update, WM6.1 and all that, I have tried with and without Sprint's customizations running, but everytime I install Sprint TV, it runs, shows the demo, and then as it is initializing it gives an Application error, shows the MDN and CID and then exits...

Any help in getting it working would be great...

Re: Sprint TV gives Application Error?

I do not recall anyone having this issue. This could be why nno answer for it. I had an issue with the new kitchen but the official release rom no issues. When I launch sprinttv it goes to start welcome video and it crashes no error message thou so this might no be same problem.

I fixed with reg edit

HKLM/software/sprinttv

change FTR setting from 1 to 0 this fixed my problem

Re: Sprint TV gives Application Error?

I actually made a post somewhere on here with the same type of problem. Mines showed an error with MDN and something called NAM. I don't know, it kind of fixed itself. I did a soft reset after I got that message and I've been watching srint tv ever since. Have you tried a soft reset?

Re: Sprint TV gives Application Error?

Are you installing it to the device or card?

Re: Sprint TV gives Application Error?

I tried installing it to the device as well as the card...

I also tried a soft reset. No change.

I'll give the regedit a try and report back...

Re: Sprint TV gives Application Error?

The FTR setting was already 0, changing it to 1 just caused it to redisplay the disclaimer and opening video...

The two items in the error message I get is the MDN and CID.

Re: Sprint TV gives Application Error?

I also had this problem. Got no help off this board, so I called Sprint. Sprint had to wipeout my account and start over to correct it. Of course I will get one of those monster prorated bills, that I have to call in and raise hell about.

Did you have a SERO account?

That will just suck if I have to do that as well... Would explain why I had so many problems in the past tho...
