Ending data session by holding the end key?

i hate making a new thread for something so small, but it would be great if someone could show me the reg edit for ending a data session by pressing and holding the end key. a few people have mentioned it but i havent seen it anywhere.

Re: Ending data session by holding the end key?

Use a regeditor and go to
"HKCU\ControlPanel\PhoneExtendFunction\CDMA\"
and change the key in "FlightModeSwitchByPnHEndKey" to 0

Re: Ending data session by holding the end key?

it didnt do anything for me. i held it down for 30+ seconds and nothing happened. and does it put it into airplane mode or does it just kill the data connection?

Re: Ending data session by holding the end key?

hmm... works for me. Though I'm sure you probably already did it, just try to edit the registry, wait a minute or two and then soft reset. You only need to hold the end call button for like 3 seconds and it'll end data. Without the reg tweak, it takes about 5-10 seconds after you let go for the phone to actually go into flight mode for some reason though.

If you're missing the key entry itself then try adding it yourself.

If it still doesn't work, it might be the ROM you are using doesn't support the longendkey press.
