Overclocking 6800?

I did search this before starting a new thread, and I'm not finding any info.

When I had the Apache, I was using HTC Performance to overclock the intel chip into the 600s.

Can this Qualcomm 7500 be overclocked at all? Any software out there that will safely do it?

I'm hoping, but not holding my breath.

I've looked into this too, and it appears there aren't any overclocking programs for this chip. Some people say that there's an HTC cab that enhances performance, but most consider it just a placebo effect.

I used to have the Apache also...was nice to get that puppy up to 624 mhz with XCPUScalar

Your best bet is a custom ROM and/or increasing the pagepool for the ROM (it's sorta like how Windows based computers use the unused memory on the hard drive for operations...virtual memory).

supposedly when Pocket Hack Master 5 gets released, it should be able to over clock this chip... unfortunately, it looks like they've taken a huge break from developement cuz i've heard and seen no progress...

maybe they got stumped and just jumped ship...
