Back up contact and restoring with sprite backup

Anyone can tell me how or if it's possible to restore only the using sprite backup?

I upgraded to the 3.56 rom. made full backup while i had 3.49. now i just want to restore back contact. I tried using the option personal data only. it didn't do it ;(. i could try restore folder or files with level1 or 2 option, but which one? thanks

My suggestion is to just try it. The worst that happens is that you have to hard reset again. I've been successful with level 1 restores across ROMS, but they were the same base. The sprite site is annoyingly silent on which is the appropriate restore type.
