Using/Not Using Build OS

Hello,

I am trying to install nochem or DCD rom. I have installed Build OS and have updated the program but when I go to run the application, a command prompt screen will flash and then disappear. It's like the application runs and then exits right away.

I am on my work PC but have full admin access.

Is there another program/ways to load custom ROMS? I know I can use the RUU (Rom Update Utillity) but I can't find the .nbh files.
