Difficulty uninstalling software!

I have loaded some software, ESRI’s ArcPad 7.1.1and accompanying extensions specifically StreetMap for routing. The StreetMap application loads but there are no address routing or addresses for that matter. What I want to do is uninstall the entire app and its extensions and reload everything. The problem is that a portion of the StreetMap app doesn’t uninstall either by ActiveSync or the uninstaller on the device specifically Canada and USA geocoding Styles and some sample StreetMap data. I’ve search and destroyed registry files with various names but to no avail as well as file within the device. Any suggestions?

If it were me I would make a current backup, if I did not have a recent one, and do a hard reset. With spb Backup I can be up and running again in under thirty minutes...
