Low RAM

on soft reset I only get like 12mb of ram with only photocontact pro running is that normal ? is ther something I can do to increase ram? I've tried sktools free up ram, and tried optimizing, I also did the speed up hack.. haven't found anything to change the RAM..

I use memmaid. It seems to work the best for freeing up ram. I just wish it was freeware.

12mb sounds low. you say only photocontact pro is running.. but is there anything running on your today screen?

the minimum i normally run is about 16 and after soft reset about 20.

Yea 12mb Is Waaay Too Low Cuz I Have 30 Applications Installed And Get 22mb After Sr, And 21 Stable Of Ram, Maybe You Have A Program With A Big Memory Leak Or A Bulky Today Plugin, Would You Ming Posting All The Applications You Have Installed?? Maybe Someone Might Tell You Whats Sucking Up Your Memory, Another Great Remedy Is To Have Sktools And Optimize Your Device For Memory!! Thats My Secret Lol

i run pocket plus on today and it has pocketbreeze in it also, my 6700 has everything the same and right now is running at 17mb... with mobile shell running also

Just do a hard reset... sync everything you need first and install photocontacts again... hard resets only take a couple minutes

yeah hard reset and get new A Key what a pain lol...i just soft reset and got 13.8mb...

well from what i see spb mobile shell is the biggest memory hog followed by s2u2, expecially if you use gif animations and maybe also spb pocket plus but not so much, mainly these apps hog up memory because they are not like normal apps, these apps are always running which means that they cant be closed for the simple reason that it runs alongside your device so if they are memory hogs theres nothing you can do about it unless you uninstall

what ROM are you running? this is definitely the single biggest cause of differences in free ram....
