Uninstall HTC Home Plugin?

I've looked around a bit, but can't find a clear answer... Is there any way to remove the HTC Home plugin once you have it installed without doing a hard reset?

Re: Uninstall HTC Home Plugin?

That was the first thing I tried...

Hit uninstall, comes up with a message saying not all items could be removed, and do I want to remove it from the list. It doesn't uninstall anything.

try this: go to settings/personal/today/items and uncheck htc home. then soft reset. then go to settings/system/remove programs and try to remove it.
hope this helps,

Tried that as well... No dice. I'll just leave it on for now I suppose.

Re: Uninstall HTC Home Plugin?

Ya know, that's a good question... I don't think I have the cab anymore. It's one of the 'standard' versions... It simply says 'HTC HTC Home' in the uninstall menu. I honestly don't remember the cab I downloaded, there's just too many of them.

Re: Uninstall HTC Home Plugin?

The main reason I want to get rid of it, is because I'm sitting at 10.5 MB free without any extra programs running, and I'd REALLY like to get that number closer to 20.

Re: Uninstall HTC Home Plugin?

Yeah, it's in the root folder, not Windows.
