Re: video messaging?

Sprint has blocked the ports used for MMS to Windows Mobile Devices. They say they will eventually have support for it, but as of right now its not available. There are however, many work arounds available at this site for MMS. Most use your email accounts and/or data connection.

Re: video messaging?

Well, actually alltel's video messaging DOES work, but its a bit picky in my own experiences.

If you are having problems recieving Video messages, you may not have your MMS setup through alltel. After a call with the support, they told me in order to do this, I must try to send a picture to myself. (just take a contact photo with your camera and send.) Of course, if you recieve the photo all MMS functionality is up and working.

If your MMS is working for pictures, then it may just be a video format issue. I usually have my friends/famiyl send me all thier MMS's so I can test the formats and I am making a small checklist to myself of what I can recieve.

I'm at work right now, so I can't give you the list atm.

Pretty much, whatever works on most phones should work for you as well.

as for sending, the videos have to be less than 300k, its annoying, I know. But for sending these, the format really depends on what the recieveing phone can use.

I hope I could provide some helpful info.

Good luck!
