Yeah its a lil different. It looks just like my alltel version, but my Alltel is like a gunmetal color. I do agree, that color isnt what i would want to pimp around with. Do a warrenty repair and see if you get the orgginal color again.

Hmm... never really noticed this until now but my new Mogul has a slight purple tint too.
Its not really directly noticeable though unless its put directly under bright light and you're lookin for it. I don't get what the big deal is.

first off, that is pink haha not purple.
and its prob the women's phone. like the pearl has a pink for thaa women.

It just looks pink in the pictures... its the camera. Its most definitely a light lavender-silver color.

I am still on my 30 day trial with the phone. I am going to call up and see if I can get the silver version instead. Color is purple again light changes picture colors. lmao princess color...i was thinking more on the line of htc purple rain color...Color really looks like an easter lavender.

If you call Sprint, you will most likely get a refurbished device as a replacement, just FYI. I wouldn't recommend changing your phone based on the color of the ring...

It is barely noticable at all unless it is under direct light....I wouldnt worry bro....

The old, non purple phones + PPC branded Moguls, had the better keyboard.
IMHO fcastro, I agree with you on how it feels. Its made of cheaper quality. I MISS THE OLD KEYBOARD DAMMIT!!! ^*Cries made in hopeless vain* .

Normal... just different parts that sprint gets. maybe from a different factory. I had this issue on t4he 2 months the mogul was released on. I had constant issues and ended up getting 5 different moguls.. and 3 out of the 5 had a purple tint to them. Also if you look closely, you will noticed your screen is different too. Might be brighter or dimmer.
