Internet Sharing/Wmodem flaky after update.

I'm on Alltel running original ROM atm and both Internet Sharing and the wmodem hack (found on PPCGeeks) both work great, I can connect, and stay connected for 8+ hours with no problems. A while back I upgraded to one of DCDs roms and whenever I would try to use either service, it would connect, but disconnect after a couple minutes. I went back to original rom and everything worked fine. With the new release of the Alltel rom I decided to upgrade again, but when I did I got the same crappy results with both programs. So then I decided to build a rom with PPCKitchen.org, same results, connect, disconnect after a few minutes. I dumped all of that and went back to the original rom for the phone and have had no problems. Any ideas? Anyone else have any problems with tethering after an update? Thanks for any suggestion.

Re: Internet Sharing/Wmodem flaky after update.

this might be a good question for no2chem, he seems to have resolved the dissconnects in his more recent builds... i now can stay connected indefinately (or till a call comes thru lol) using ICS... never got around to messing with wmodem.
