Link to Folder in Launcher/HTC Home

Hi everybody, this is my first post here and look forward to any help you can give. I'm running the HTC home plugin with the customizer. Under the Launcher section, I want to have one of the available slots link to a folder where I can group applications.

I'm a nurse and have a bunch of Skyscape (drug/medical reference programs), so I'd like to have a folder in the launcher called "Skyscape" that would take me to a folder where those apps are.

I tried creating a simple folder in the start menu directory, but it didn't work. Any help would be appreciated. I'd prefer to do this without using 3d party apps, i.e. ultimate lancher. Thanks.

One possibility that works for me, link to File Explorer. On my phone, File Explorer remembers the last directory that was opened, and returns there each time I call it up.

Re: Link to Folder in Launcher/HTC Home

Create a folder with a shortcut to all the apps that you want in the \Windows\Start Menu\ directory. Then go to Start -> Settings -> Menus and then place a checkmark next to the new folder that you just made. You may have to remove other shortcuts, because there is a limit to how many that you can have on the Start Menu.

Works for me...

Would work, but the OP did specifically state that he did not want to use third party apps if possible...
