Re: Bought the 2400Mah Battery From Ebay

I think it will last for about 2 years, after that you might have to get a new one. But why bother, you will have the latest and greatest, and will have craigslisted your 6800 a year earlier by then.

I think if you keep it in the fridge and dont use it in your phone, you might get about 3 years from it, but your phone will get no benifit from this method.

If you wait a year to get it, and use it in your phone, you should be able to get the same amount that i mentioned in the first paragraph, but you might wait another month or so after that, your new phone will not take the 6800 battery, amd you might not recoup the initial investment you made in the 2400Mah battery.

If the battery is used then your experiance will vary.

Re: Bought the 2400Mah Battery From Ebay

I always keep my phone plug in. In the car and in my office. That mean I seldom use the battery. I should never need to get another battery and it never runs out. Simple as that.

Ordered one too, ought to be receiving it later today or tomorrow. While battery life has certainly improved with various reg tweaks and custom ROMs, it still drains far too fast to be practical
