Cannot Sync Outlook on Mogul using Vista WMDC

Make sure you have WMDC 6.1 and that you uncheck Start > Settings > Connections > USB to PC.

Yes I have 6.1 the latest version, I have done the check/unchecking of USB to PC but still not able to sync
and another note, I had no problems syncing my PPC Audiovox 6600 with Outlook

Check and make sure your Device name is same (Mine usually changes name on rom update)you used before to sync , if not it will not find the name in your phone to sync with the files it did before.

I was never synced before rom update, I have removed all devices and just started with the Mogul but with no avail.

Worse comes to worse, delete partnerships on WMP, then in registries on PDA and PC, and redo partnerships.

I can't remember where I found it, but here is what I have to do from time to time.

Disable your active network wired/wireless connection before cradling or attaching. Then hook up and WMDC sees the device. Once you do this, you can re-enable the network connection. Pain in the arse, but it works for me when WMDC will not see the device.

Apparently it's a know issue with MS that they are working with in the TCP/IP stack. I'll see if I can find the article, but that is the only thing that helped me.

I have and no change
also it works syncing Outlook on XP

In Windows Mobile Device Center, under Mobile Device Settings>Change Contact Sync Settings, are Contacts and Calendar at the top of the list checked?
