Any way to back up contacts without Outlook?

I only have Outlook Express on my computer...not sure if it'll work with that or not.

But yeah, I'm trying to save my contacts before I install the new Mogul update. Can someone tell me how to do that? Thanks.

Re: Any way to back up contacts without Outlook?

PIM Backup is free and easy to use. Any backup software will work though.

Re: Any way to back up contacts without Outlook?

use File Explorer and go to the root of yoru device. Make sure "show all files" is enabled in the options. Copy "PIM" to your card. When you restore, you'll need to rename the PIM you're replacing to something else, then copy it over. Then, restart your phone.

Putting in a second vote for Mail2Web. If for some reason you loose your contacts, you can resync them from anywhere.

Re: Any way to back up contacts without Outlook?

I installed emoze last night, free secure email-push and sync add-on for outlook or any exchange server.
walks you through so you don't get duplicates, it doesn't sync the photo with a contact so..

Re: Any way to back up contacts without Outlook?

Just cut & past the PIM.vol file from your My Device root folder to your SD card.

After your update is complete, rename the PIM file in the My Device folder to anything else, then cut and paste the PIM file from your SD card into the My Device folder. Nothing else needed.
