PIE click to dial number

So ive seen on the centro and the treos that when you see a phone number in a web page in webblazer , you can click it and it will plug the number directly into your dialpad so you can call without having to remember the number (much like clicking a phone number that was sent in a text message).

This would be suuuuuper helpful if anyone knew how to make this work on Pocket IE! thanks!

Re: PIE click to dial number

I had a treo and LOVED that feature! Randomly PIE gives me a link to call or sms. I switched to Opera a few days ago and don't know if that's still an option with Opera. But back to PIE... I opened yahoo mobile main page, did my search... Pizza Hut conway ar for an example and it gave me the option to call.

Re: PIE click to dial number

I see the option to call a number all the time. When you click it, it will have some sort of confirmation to call the #.

Re: PIE click to dial number

Live Search also lets you dial from a search result.. and Live Search is so much cooler with the voice search deal. SUPER accurate and FAST for me too

Re: PIE click to dial number

Every time I do a google search in pie i can click it and launch a dial from the number. I think this was added in on wm 6.0.

Edit: Oops got beat to it. I'll leave this up though so it can sink in a little further.

You know you can copy/paste the number.

1. Highlight the number, then holding down the stylus on it and pick "copy".

2. Press the send key (call key, little green key, just get the dial pad up)

3. Hit menu and then choose "paste". Number should populate into the dialer.

4. Press the send key.
