Re: hotmail not updating
go into windows live through your phone, tap menu, then tap Go to, from there you will tap Folders. Once in folders check every folder that has a clear box next to it, by doing this you will set them up to sync according to the schedule you set. Hope this helps.

all of them are checked but it still does not update real-time. also if messaging is open. it does not alert me that there is a new email... this is very frustrating

Re: hotmail not updating
IMHO I tried everything and it stop updating after a few hours until I resync it manually.
Seems like it never truly saves the "as items arrive setting" and it gets annoying. Try Seven and see if it works better: http://community.seven.com/forum/main.php |

Re: hotmail not updating
I have been having this problem as well and I have noticed one thing.
I went into memmaid and looked at the services running. Live was there, but not started. I manually started the service and it started working. Every time I soft reset I have to restart the service. Hope that helps a little. |

Re: hotmail not updating
Nay, its a bug in the program. I've went through many builds and all had the same issue, some weren't as frequent and others were intermittent.
The tweak (if it was ever made) would have to invole hitting the Sync portion 2-3 times, I know the latest build requires 3 hits of the Sync to get it working again. Much like this below: 1st= Sync/Disconnect 2nd= Sync/Connected/No Push 3rd= Sync/Connected/Push No it won't label it like I did but knowing that, makes it less of a guessing game when getting it working again. BTW I must have alot of Tweaks for the battery cause Seven never gulped my batt down, but to be fair I have Batt/Powersave Tweaks & a 3200mAh battery. Maybe something like MortScript would work? I dunno.... |
