Ubuntu Mobile

I just saw this today...
http://www.ubuntu.com/products/mobile
How hard do you guys think it will be to get it to run nicely on a titan?
I love ubuntu and would love to rock it on my phone...
And who knows how long it will be till we can have android working on titans...

Re: Ubuntu Mobile

I posted this in the Alternate OS thread but yeah, it looks awesome. I think it is being developed for devices with more resources like the HTC Shift but it's a step in the right direction I think. I would imagine this or Android comes out on "approved" or tested hardware first and then people will get to work porting it or optimizing it for other devices like Titans and other simpler devices.

Also you will have to remember that they would need a way to access the phone functionality. Hopefully Android helps with that since it's being made for phones. It might help getting open drivers out there to be used in other open platform phones like a theoretical Ubuntu phone OS.
