New ROM and larger microSD cards...

I have a Sprint 6800 and I have upgraded to the newest official rom; can I use a larger SD card right now or would I need to install those drivers that are floating around? Thanks.

Anything larger that 2gb would be nice - I have not purchased anything yet.

Currently I have the latest ROM, and the 4gb Kingston microsdhc works perfectly...
It worked even out of the box before i updated the ROM, i am not sure about the 6gb or 8gb though...

Just got my 8GB card today - new ROM recognizes it as 8 GB just fine.
