digi's version 1 ROM based on dcd's 161 kitchen

I've enjoyed dcd's work since I first found his Alltel clean ROM. Really made my Mogul run like it is supposed to. After I saw the dcd kitchen was released I started customizing it to the base I need start loading my own custom apps.

I've changed a few minor things and added these apps...like I said just a base to start out:

Wktask
Quickmenu
HTC Home
HTC Audio Manager
HTC Camera Album
Ledkiller 3.1
Pocket Rar

Some of the applications are customized a little bit to what I normally use. This was built with Sprint as the carrier in the kitchen.

I also have a copy on the PPCGeeks FTP under Titan/users/digiblur

Curious, where does one get the kitchen and is it based on the Sprint 2.17 ROM or something else?

These apps make a very good base. I actually haven't found a ROM with a base I like and Ive been too busy/lazy to make my own. I don't feel like making one the old way. So I was waiting for a better kitchen. But I think Ill give this a shot.

Ya might wanna include some 1411 on DCDs kitchen in this topic. What reg. hacks does he use.........

Have you found any conflicts with any OEMs and (DCDs kitchen/your ROM).

DCD's roms are discussed extensively over at XDA-developers.
DCD left PPCgeeks a while ago (a real loss to the community) due to politics.

His roms are based on 2.17 + aku .7 + tons of tweaks (battery, volume).

In my (humble?) opinion, his roms were the best and most thorough to date. Only incuding things that most people want (working MMS) leaving out stuff that most people don't (live, etc).
