Simultaneous Button Hack?

I have the P4000 (titan equivalent for telus, I believe) and playing SNES games is impossible without being able to press buttons simultaneously. I found a hack for the HTC Apache (PPC-6700 for sprint) at http://www.emulamer.com/6700kbfix.html but I've been unable to find one for my phone.

Anyone know of any such hack?
