wtf wit the mogul
ok i had the mogul for a week now....i know i know im late. I love the damn phone and this site has helped me alot wit the proggies. I have the sprint tv hack, ppod, htc home, htc customizer. Now after a week i noticed that mid day i have to restart my mogul cuz the sounds stop working. like i would get a text message but my pohone wont vibrate or ring. Can anyone help me wit this issue. i have the 2.09 rom if that helps. kinda scared to upgrade cuz might lose my contacts and not sure how to back contacts or all my files and setting up.

I highly recommend updating the ROM to 2.17.
You can backup your contacts and calendar entries with pocket pim backup for free. http://www.freewareppc.com/database/pimbackup.shtml I use this instead of activesync to backup. After you update your rom, then let's see if you still have these errors. No point in spending a ton of time fixing a problem if you're going to hard reset anyways.

Ok imma leave the life of my mogul in your hand sandiegodude. downloaded the backup tool yo reccommnded and download the new rom. wish me luck.

do you have it set to vibrate when you get a text message? i didn't realize when i first got my mogul that the vibrate settings are separate for calls and texts.

yea i got vibrate and sound checked. i backed up all my stuff and updated got all my contcts but had to redo all my settings. no big deal though. so far so good

excuse my language but...oh shit. i see a huge improvement since i updated to 2.17. the battery b4 the update i had like 30% by noon. today with the same usage 90. thanks
