pRSSreader problems

i am unable to add 2-3 of the rss feeds i'd like to view. does anyone else have problems adding certain feeds? it said phpbb.com's feed didnt exist or was an unknown format. there was another one i tried that is formatted almost exactly like slashdot.org's feed but it said it didnt exist even though i was looking at the page in the browser.

i love how i make a post asking a legitimate question and i get zero replies but the second someone asks how to remove the clock in the upper right hand corner or talks about OMG GPS SOON, there are instantly 10 replies with worthless drabble.
