I'll try the software fixes and see if that helps. If it doesn't then I'll call the sprint technician number that the CSR gave me. The case didn't get cracked, the phone isn't damaged at all. The back popped off when I dropped it and the battery fell out. And russ8am's problem sounds the same as mine, so the software fixes probably won't help. And I'm not just getting a new battery because there might be something wrong with the actual phone.

Just spend the $10 on a new Ebay battery. It's a sure-fire way to tell if the problem is the battery (likely) or the phone.

mine is doing similar things. Phone is 1 1/2 months old, never been dropped....stock rom...beam & BT shut off.... battery hacks in place...no apps running....my email and weather are set to update once every 4 hours.

Here is the kicker, I pull it off the charger before bed 100% green LED. I wake up 5 hours later and its at 80 % from sitting in standby mode... with full service bars ...with nothing running and email/ weather only updated once.

So yeah, I MAY get 24 hours in standby doing NOTHING.

It kills me that the specs state " 228 hours ( 10 days) of Stand-by time "

LOL, crackheads shouldnt build/ market/ or sell these types of devices.. look what happens !

Very turdish IMO... just another thing to add to the pile of WTF.

If this is happening often, or even only every once in a while, isn't it likely that it's a problem with the phone and not the battery? 10 days is a lot different than 24 hours as far as standby goes, and mine isn't even lasting 12 hours in standby. I don't see any program fixing this. I'll call Sprint, if they can't help I'll get a new battery, and if that doesn't work then I'll be able to return this phone.
