MMS Settings

For those flashing to another carrier I have figured this out with some help from other posts. There are way too many posts that I have searched through to figure this out so I consider this a collective post and in no way my own. I have just compiled it.

The Arcsoft MMS is unconfigurable stock, so you must do an edit through reg.

Go to your favorite reg editor. I am using PHM Regedit.

Go to HKLM ->Arcsoft->Arcsoft MMS UA->UI->Enable Server Edit. Change from 0 to 1. It unlocks the server edit in Arcsoft.

Ok. Here's where I need help. I need to change these settings so my local cdma carrier nTelos can be setup to work on this phone. I have all the settings but I get a send get request failed.

Any ideas?

Re: MMS Settings

Seems that I know can receive completely. There's got to be something I'm missing to send. IT sends out but never makes it to other destination.

Re: MMS Settings

>_< hate to resurrect a dead thread but, anyone found any info for arcsoft manipulation or an alternative to it that will allow mms on alternative carriers?? I have all the correct mms settings for at&t setup after enabling server edit and still not working. Can send but they never seem to get to their destination and can recieve but only recieve "message not found" anyone know work arounds or alternate programs for sending/recieving?

Re: MMS Settings

Hate to resurrect a dead thread again with a bump but there has got to be a pro out there with insight into arcsoft settings that can help those of us trying to get mms on carriers other than VZW.

Re: MMS Settings

to change your x-MDN entry
HKLM\SOFTWARE\ARCSOFT\ARCSOFT MMS UA\CONFIG\UI
CountryCode ="1" ="" ect prepends the mdn
IsAlltelVersion 1 changes X-VZW-MDN to X-Alltel-MDN
IsSupport Sprint changes X-VZW-MDN to X-MDN
