Time stamp problem and time zone

Has anybody else experienced a problem with email and text messages having a wrong time stamp, like an hour ahead. Also the screen when you push the clock says the right time for my location. But the incorrect time for a nearby town in the same time zone?????? 1 hour ahead also

Have you confirmed the correct timezone setting in Settings -> System -> Clocks & Alarms?

Yes it is set to the correct time tone. If I hit the nearby city to display it on the home screen then go into settings in will change the time zone GMT-5 instead of GMT-6 but both are in the same time zone. I have had it screw me up a few times for appointments and such.

All three city are in the same time zone.

That did not help but thank you anyway. I think it gets the timezone ifo from the weather database because the cities in the clock are the ones I added under weather settings. I am going to check this now, anyone else have this issue?

Re: Time stamp problem and time zone

In case anybody else runs into this it is a problem with conflipper's weather database v4, it has my whole area in the wrong time zone. I uninstalled it and it is fine, however now I can't use my actual city. I looked into editing the database and even though I changed the timezone data recopied to the device it still was incorrect.
