Re: REQ: Working Bluetooth Notification Fix

This stops the bluetooth connection popup, but not the bluetooth disconnection notification. It adds an option under notifications to turn it on or off.

Re: REQ: Working Bluetooth Notification Fix

Does anyone know how to get rid of this notification, other than turning bluetooth off when not being used? It doesnt do this when touchflo 3d is on. However I dont like touchflo 3d (i prefer the standard windows mobile interface).

Re: REQ: Working Bluetooth Notification Fix

Hope this may help those looking into reg edits, but if you get rid of the HTC dialer all the bluetooth notifications go away, including the one telling you to adjust the volume from your bluetooth device...

I had the HTC Diamond before this and used a good program called "Diamond Tweak". Have not tested all of its functions on the Imagio, but switching to the windows default dialer seems to work.

No nice HTC dialer, but my memory increased as well as no bluetooth notifications.

Wirelessly posted (Imagio: XV6975 Opera/9.50 (Windows NT 5.1; U; en))

Great catch! It's worth the tradeoff.

Re: REQ: Working Bluetooth Notification Fix

It's interresting that changing the dialer skin stops the Bluetooth notification. To me, that might seem to indicate that there is a group of settings somewhere that we're still missing.

I would prefer the HTC dialer but I hate the bluetooth notification more. Does anyone know if previous dialer skins will work to replace the canned one, AND keep the bluetooth notification disabled?

Re: REQ: Working Bluetooth Notification Fix

Do you have a link to "Diamond Tweak"?
Or is some smart### going to tell me to search google again?

Re: REQ: Working Bluetooth Notification Fix

Here is the reg edit for getting the default dialer so no need to install "Diamond Tweak" unless you want to test the other options. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\security\phone\skin\Enabled=0

A couple of the negatives I've noticed so far by doing this are:

1. My red hard button "end call" will not hang up on a call, I have to use the touch screen dialer's end button.

2. The screen does not automatically turn off in a call when close to your face.

No other issues so far but hoping this gives reg edit people an idea how to fix the bluetooth issue within the HTC dialer.
