I hate the microsoft bling/bing whatever its called search thing. How can one disable that and add google as the search engine? I know I can make google.com the home page but I like typing my searches from the touch flo or clicking from the address bar which pulls out another area to type which now is this bing bling whatever its called.

Anyone?

I actually use Bing all the time on my PC. I too haven't warmed up to it on my phone. I do use the "Bing" answer for Live Search instead of Google maps sometime. It searches easier.

However, from the slider, I just go to the web Icon, hit the go to web button and it goes right to Google.( Or any other home page you like). This is only one more stroke than you are asking for.

Also, if you use the contacts from the application list, on the menu of this application there is a command to find the contact from Google Maps. I use this alot.

Thanks for the reply. So I guess the answer is no it cannot be removed and use google as default? I'm sure there has to be a way. For now I will just use the opera 9 beta which works great but does not do lanadscape. But I just found a nice little free app that switches any app to landscape.
