I just spent 2 hours trying every HTC mtype I could find in my startup.txt. for Haret. Some of them caused the instant reboot...some just hung the phone until I pulled the battery, but none of them even came close to working.
I also tried a variety of different options on the "set cmdline" line of the config. I don't think this is something we are going to be able to make work. The way I understand it is support for Whitestone needs to be built into the kernel. Whitestone hardware isn't close enough to other HTC devices to work with any of their mtypes.
I hope someone can figure this out, but I'm not holding my breath.
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/htc-imagio...ml#post1756682 - This post outlines the steps we need to take to get development started on Whitestone. But I doubt there is enough demand for it anymore...seems like everyones jumping ship to "true" Android phones....
