Virtual Keyboard?

We were comparing the Hero virtual keybord vs the physical keyboard on the Moment. It seemed like the Hero was very sensitive and we kept mistyping!. Has anyone else experienced this and/or is it just that we need to get used to it?.

Re: Virtual Keyboard?

The top sticky in this forum is a good read. There is a setting for mistyping correction on the stock keyboard. There are also other keyboards out there too.

Re: Virtual Keyboard?

Apparently your first touchscreen phone. Yes it is sensitive and I wouldnt want it any other way. It does take time getting used to but I find that once you get the hang of it, you can type just as fast as a hardware keyboard.

Re: Virtual Keyboard?

yeah, i had that problem with my hero. i would just start typing and halfway thru the message, i had to go back and correct just about everything i typed. in my opinion, no virtual keyboard can out do a hardware keyboard. the best hardward keyboard was the tp2's. that is mainly the reason why i still have it.

Re: Virtual Keyboard?

Hmmm! ... my wife is unconvinced and she is leaning towards the Moment.

However, I think the HTC UI is better

Re: Virtual Keyboard?

I can type damn near twice as fast on my hero as I can on my g1, and in IMO that is the best physical keyboard ever made.
