Get rid of Hands Free Activation

Is there anyway to stop a Hero from trying to activated itself on Sprint via the start up Hands Free Activation? I am running fresh rom on a new never activated Sprint Hero and it drives me nuts trying to activate itself.

Re: Get rid of Hands Free Activation

I am just using the phone as a mp3 player and skype phone on my home network since I am on an old fc plan and do not want to switch plans..... so the phone can not activate it self.

Try using it in Airplane mode or mobile networks.Maybe the devs can make something for you to disable

Re: Get rid of Hands Free Activation

This should only show up when you startup the phone.

But to get rid of it:
Get the MSL and program the phone with a fake MDN and MSID. It should stop asking you to activate. ##MSL#
You can use CDMA workshop or similar to get the MSL if you can't get it from Sprint.
