Screen Brightness

Unable to adjust the screen's brightness level. It is always bright and runs down battery. Unchecking auto brightness and manually sliding brightness slide bar has no effect. Non rooted, running froyo. Did a reset with no help. Anything else to try before sprint repair shop or insurance claim? Thanks.

I've heard it being a bug on gingerbread, but never to hear it as an issue on froyo...
Have done any updates at all? Like updating radio, prl etc?

Re: Screen Brightness

I had same issue. Try this... Brightness Level by curvefish on the market. Worked fine and fixed it all for me!

Re: Screen Brightness

Put window tint on it! That will lower that brightness right down!
