Before I try and install this I have a question? I'm rooted and running froyo 2.2 stock rom, so do I just download and install or....What. I don't want to mess up my phone so any help would be appreciated thanks.

No, just install the rooted version of the rom. The first link is for an odex version and the second is the deodex version.

So my buddy tried this update while he was rooted on Unrevoked forever and he claims it worked just fine. He had to return his phone so he updated so he could take it back un rooted. Can anyone else confirm this. I thought he was FOS but havent seen him to look at his phone.

Okay just one more question? So the second link is the rooted version right. I just sync onto phone go to file manager and install and that's it?

nope the one i post the first one is the official one .. so if ur not roooted ur ok.

I downloaded and flashed the Odexed Rom. I renamed it Update.zip and flashed it from HBoot like normal.

It seemed to flask okay and took the usual time but reboot, it came all teh way up but when it got to my Main screen, it opened a box saying Loading... with a spinning circle indocator. It has beeb doing this for about 4 minutes. What could it be loading?
