HTC from T-mobile

I am planning on getting a HD2 from T-mobile(gsm carrier only)... will i be able to unlock my phone and use it on cdma network? will i be able to remove windows 6.5 and install android technology?

Won't work on cdma ... sorry. As for android ... maybe just pick up a Nexus One ... would be a whole lot easier.

no possible way to change from gsm over to cdma?? come on there has to be some way.

My tp2 you can remove wm6.5 and put on android...why not the other way around?

i'll check xda for a GSM android port, putting anything cdma on your device will turn it into an expensive paperweight!

well, the thing is i want to use it on my cdma network for a bit before I move back to china where everything is gsm, and Im hoping later to upgrade from android over to wm7..but by that time maybe ill be sold on the android and wont want to switch but will have to wait and see

Yes I know they are different technolgies...I just cant believe HTC would make a phone for one company and then a different phone for another....its got to be something done by the carriers...in that case it should be able to "unlocked" for another carrier..ie-cdma

I want the Winning lotto numbers but its just not happening, The HD2 DOES NOT HAVE A CDMA radio, its missing the hardware so its just NEVER going to happen. sorry.
