easiest way to tether wifi

instead of linking to someplace else which links to another link I put everytihg into 1 post.

I also recommend uninstalling any previous versions before installing the newest. (thats what I did)

unrevoked - will root your phone (not sure if it stays or goes after reboot)

you can also download from these links

http://unrevoked.com - use browser on phone and follow instructions

http://code.google.com/p/android-wif...st?can=2&q=Evo

**Update** version 2.02 is adhoc while 2.05 allows it to connect like an access point**

save files to your sd card or internet cache

you must first run unrevoked and when prompted allow superuser access.

then you can download the tether app and if prompted select superuser access.

I had the wifi tether error at first but did it again and it worked.

but afterwards I was able to get .4 down and .4 up inside house

google search helped find all this info, I am sure xda contributed to this info

I ota'd the update and this still works

*** I will update this post also periodically to try and make sure current info is posted ***
