DROID Incredible Accessories

Any news on good one's? I presume that any USB micro car charger should work for this phone.

I have a car charger with a USB port - when i plug USB cable into that and then into the phone, the phone alternates between charging and not every 2 seconds, I can't figure out why.

Any ideas on that and anyone find any good accessories? I love this phone!

WRONG , the USB ports are not the same , compare your charger USB to the car charger USB end.

Perhaps I wasn't clear enough - apologies. It's the same USB cable that came with the phone. It's just the end that typically goes in computer, is going in USB car charger thing. (as pictured).

Yeah, it's just not. The battery icon shows charging, then not charging, then charging, etc. I'm sure it's something goofy with it thinking it's connected to a computer - just checking if anyone else had seen that behavior.

exactly what i'm doing, works fine.

I'd like a car dock too, but not if it costs a lot.

What mode are you using when it prompts from a USB connect? if it doesn't prompt you, you should be fine, or otherwise the car charger is defective if it goes on and off

I use the Kensington usb charger since it was only $10 and it charges anything with usb
while this one is much newer than mine, i highly recommend this one, i've had mine for about 5 years now and no issues

Mini usb to micro!! i plan on buying one to test it out!

EDIT this will not work for EXT USB Connection (ie Video Out cord and Most HTC OEM Wall Chargers)

Nope, video cable won't work, i tried explaining this on the Phandroid forum and everyone ignored what i was trying to tell them

If you have a digital camera or a PS3 controller, try connecting your extUSB (HTC TP2 usb cable) to it, it won't fit, this will be the same case for any adapter, sadly we'll have to wait until the official one comes out

ur right i forgot that the video cord was ext usb!!

also thanks i just corrected my phone so wrong info will not spread!!
