yeah, so obviously, the eris is dead. at this point we're all wandering why we got this phone (unless you're one of the lucky ones that rooted before you leaked OR [in my case] your trackball doesn't work to be able to scroll down and root in your bootloader mode..)

so, i must say i believe i'm switching back to winmo and getting the tp2, i was going to get the incredible but i'm eligible for an upgrade in nov. and i'm just going to wait to see the best [htc] android out then..

so to everyone i've met on this section [eris] of the board, i bid you farewell. and happy root/flashing. if you need me for some random reason [particularly if it's a winmo question] pm me. other than that [android users..] talk to someone such as cg83 orrrrr gervvy, they were great guides through my android times.

i'm [starting] to gain hope, i'm going to try this "one click" root, if it works, i probably will still get a tp2, i will however still mess around with the forum for the eris since my g/f will be using my eris :]

Root worked and I was on 2.1.
