Grinding to a halt

I am a relatively new user and I continue to have problems with my Touch Diamond slowing down to the point where it simply doesn't function. Specifically, the device resets often, TouchFlow interface may not load completely, searching for contacts can be painfully slow. This behavior seemed to coincide with finally synching all my contacts from Outlook. I have over 10,000 contacts and I fear that is gumming up the works to the point where the phone simply can not function.

Previously my Treo 650 handled all contacts with relative ease. My company issued BB Curve hardly blinks.

I'm currently using Mighty ROM 6.0, & Windows 6.5.

Any thoughts?

Flash shipped and reflash MightyROM and hard reset. It should work better then.
