Wired Headset button - Change or Disable?

When I ride my motorcycle, the button sometimes gets pressed accidentally and I call (and annoy) people. Is there a way (short of Krazy glue) to disable the button or reassign its function? It would be nice if that button could skip songs (mp3) or stations (fm radio) instead of dialing the last number called. I do use it to answer calls, though, but that's less important than stopping the unintended outgoing calls.
Suggestions?
Pete

i ride also and i use my headset, if you hear a call being made you can just hang up w the headset

mine calls also.... whats really screwd is that the headset now makes calls simply with a wiggle of the line.....lol sucks sometimes

Re: Wired Headset button - Change or Disable?

use this. when you double tap the button it will skip to the next song or pause/play it. when you press it a single time nothing happens (no phone call). install it, soft reset, then go to programs/htc button...and pick what you want it to do when you double tap and then select "audio manager" and your all set.

Thanks, but this did not stop the redial function, and did not work with the manilla audio (I don't have touch3d). In reading this thread, though, I found another program that is working for me. For those interested,

Re: Wired Headset button - Change or Disable?

What a life saver, I've been looking for this too. My headset has been pissing all kinds of people off lately and I didn't want to drop the cash for a new over priced headset when mine still works fine for the most part.

Thanks guys!!
