My phone won't open pics in emails anymore. It seems that the application is not associated with the file type.

Anyone knows how to fix it?

are the pictures from another ppc like a touch or mogul? or did you install tcpmp and check all the boxes in file asociation, couldnt put both s on.(swear filter)

The email is from an iPhone.

This has happened before. I did a format last week and it worked again until now.

Tcpmp is not installed on this device. Maybe memmaid did something?

I've had this issue with some ROMs in the past. The easiest way around it I found was to tap on the picture and hold down, then you get the "save as" box, I save it somewhere (where i can find it lol) then can go to the folder i saved it in, and it opens fine from there.

Have you flashed anyone's ROM? Or are you running on the shipped ROM?

I'm running the latest HTC rom. It was working ok at first.

Tried to save the pic and it doesn't work on file explorer either. Is there an app where I can choose the default app like in windows?

I think I'm onto something here. Maybe I can change something to make it work. (BTW check out the Seidio extended battery! Lasts all day )

Hmm... good question, i think when this happened to me, it defaulted and opened up in htc album. i'll play around with this and see if i can find something too for you.
