removing outlook from email options

I don't use Outlook and was messing around with something and it added outlook as an option in my TF3d Emails, is there a way I can get rid of this?

Re: removing outlook from email options

You have to change the sync settings in Activesync (on your PC) to not sync email.

Connect your device in Activesync mode, then open Activesync, go to Tools>Options...

On this page, un-check "Email"

The extra icon in TF3D should now go away.

Hope that helps.

Re: removing outlook from email options

Hi,

I have a similar problem which cannot be fixed in this way.

I use Blackberry Connect. This gives me my work email, my home email and two other "System" emails. I don't use these "System" emails, but I think they have to be there because of Blackberry. However, even if these email accounts do have to remain active, how can I simply remove these in TF3D as I don't want to ever use them?

Re: removing outlook from email options

It used to not be there for me, it would just default to my sprint mobile email program (my gmail aco****) and then I tried setting up my work email with mobile outlook, and failed doing it but now I can't get rid of the mobile outlook spot in emails to select and it defaults to nothing all the time.

Also, maybe this will help:
goto the email tab, menu > accounts > accounts... , then hilite the account you don't want and hit menu > delete

Thanks, but this doesn't help me. When you have Blackberry, it doesn't show any accounts in the section you have shown. I think it is a probably a manila file that needs modifying.....

Try this:

ActiveSync/Menu/Option...

Pick the one you don't want (Microsoft Exchange), then delete.

That should do it for ya.

Re: removing outlook from email options

Option in the Active Sync menu tab is greyed out. I tried plugging into the PC too and choosing the Active Sync option.
