Viewing webcam for Q-See cameras?

I have a "q-see" security system at home that allows me to view the cameras online. It works on my computer. Supposedly, it also works on mobile phones that run IE 6 or better. The version I am running, though, does not work. (currently windows 6.5). Does anyone know what version does actually work? And, if so, where to download it? I don't mind downgrading IE to a lower release, since I do not use it otherwise. (prefer opera).

Thanks, Pete
