Question hott..charging

does the htc touch and htc diamond use the some phone changers??
wall, car, ???

the one i use at home it the one that came with the htc touch, at the office the newer one ( that came with the diamond ) and in my truck the HTC brand, but i used it with my touch..

the reason i ask, the car changer seems to make my phone a little warmer then the home / office chargers...

let me know..

Re: hott..charging

Read the fine print on the chargers and it will tell the output of each, the touch and diamond ac ones are both 1amp I believe which should be higher than most usb sources usually, but my car .5 amp actually puts out more than my wall chargers, you can monitor your charging rates with nuepower Cpl I use the V1.52 cab but there is also a diamond download lower on the page that installs fast charge also.

It tells a lot of info including power use and power charging.

My diamond gets hot enough to fry eggs on with the fast charge cab installed, but my charge rates almost doubled. thanks no2chem

Re: hott..charging

If you're getting a hot Diamond when charging try changing the radios. Personally I run the 1.11f radio and don't get much heat at all. And any charger with a mini-USB interface will fit and work.
