How to make volume quieter?

I use my Diamond with my noise-isolating pair of Shures, and it's way too loud for my taste... even at 1 bar in the volume menu.

I usually end up going into the sound pref, and scroll the volume down to 1%, but even that is kinda loud to listen to music in the library, or in my room.

Does anyone know a fix to this problem? Making the general volume quieter.

Thanks.

that would be very nice. I'm surprised I haven't seen anyone else make an issue of it. Either I have super sensitive ears, or everyone else is deaf? LOL

Re: How to make volume quieter?

I never have a problem with overly loud sounds. In fact it's just right for me stock.

Re: How to make volume quieter?

I found the same problem with my bose in-ear headphones...I found a fix over at the xda website

"HKLM\Software\HTC\AudioManager_Eng\Config\music_p l ayer_volumn --> 20 (default: 100)
HKLM\Software\HTC\AudioManager_Eng\Information\vol umn --> 20 (default: 100)"

I change the values even lower too 10 because then I can turn it up higher more gradually... here's the original post...

http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...6&postcount=18

fyi this only effects the headphones I think, not the speakerphone...
